I lost my job a year ago and was not sick once all year. I have environmental allergies and really want to work from home. I will work 8 hrs no problem. Aren’t there any legitimate jobs? Prefirably a creative and steady paying one?
Most of them are scam.. they ask for upfront payment and guarantee that you’ll cover it in days.. but then they disappear..

Those are all scams one way or another that prey on people without the common sense to figure that out. If they actually existed, don’t you think that EVERYONE would be working from home???

I have been looking for years myself but got smart enough to google each one and read the reviews. Received an email last week and searched the internet for at least ten hours and did not find but 1 negative comment about the opportunity. So I joined. Even if I don’t make any money I will definitely save money on my groceries. There are plenty of things that you can do to make money online and I know plenty of people that do, and yes they are legit. I can turn you on to a free 8 page report that will open your eyes and show you that the potential is there. You can sit in front of your computer whenever you want and work as much or as little as you choose, its entirely up to you. Everything is teachable and easy to understand. If you really want to make a change and put this recession out of your mind once and for all, you can absolutely make it happen. The only thing you need to do is read 8 pages and check it out for yourself. Unemployment is degrading and destructive and doesn’t have to be that way. You can work as a customer sales rep for liveops.com. Westathome.com is another sales job. When looking for a work from home job try looking for work approved by the Better Business Bureau, these are the legit jobs.

I did a lot of research looking for something, anything that was legit that I could do from home, after hundreds of possibles I found only three that I felt were legit.
The world of work from home is not a safe one, please be careful and look into every potential before you talk to them, and when you do listen to the sales pitch. Feel free to ask questions, and know that you are going to be very self motivating, and that you will not be getting an hourly (no one that I have found pays an hourly).
I do have a work from home, I love it because its something I can feel good about, the company is real and not a fly by night, its been around for twenty five years.

I don’t know about any jobs like that. I’ve been searching for years and decided that they don’t exist. Their may be something like that out there but I’ve never found it. I have been doing network marketing and am having success with it. You just have to have a good product and a great comp plan which I have found. And I have tried a bunch of them.

Yeah, not only have I worked from home, but prior to doing so I researched the field very thoroughly. I do believe I know the tricks of the trade and can tell the legetimate offers from the scams quite easily. One thing for sure, if you are not asked for any money or investment at all, be very careful. How do you think the offerer makes a living if he advertises but never charges anything? You have to expect some kind of reasonable fee.
The things to look for are:
1) How long has the company been in business. Should be AT LEAST 10 years.
2) Is the product or service legetimate and needed.
3) Is the payment structure straight forward and well explained
4) Is there training provided, and what kind of support is offered
5) Is the concept simple and easily understood.

You can choose, to work at home or have a online business that you can manage even your at home. But this kind of thing is really dangerous because there are really lot of scammers out there that will trick you and tell you a lot of false promises.
