I am trying to find a work from home job so that I can stay home with my son and still have some sort of income. Everything I come across is, what seems to be, a scam. Most ask for a nominal fee for "supplies, contacts, etc.". Please help if you have any information!!
About the start up fees- so many people do not understand that start up fees are to discourage to people that are just window shopping as well as to recover some of the cost of making all the DVDs, booklets, S&H costs, etc that come with "work from home."
You need to understand that its not the cost you need to look at but the company itself. Research the heck out of the company, look at the BBB web site for complaints and awards, look at how many times they have changed their domain name- if its more then three times a year then that is a sign that its a scam (more then once a year for the past 10 yrs is to much as well).
I tended to hit the search engine with the company name and the word "scam" and see what came up.
After three years of doing that I found one that had a great rep with the BBB, that had been in business for over twenty years (I think its 25 now or maybe coming up on 25), that people would think good things about- green, and home focused.
If you are interested in working from home send me a note and I will forward you the contact information.
Good Luck,
